Deposits A deposit is required for all cake orders with the balcance due as follows: For novelty and other celebration cakes a deposit of £20 is required at the time of ordering with the balance due on collection or delivery. Payment is requested in either cash or cheque supported by a bank card and should be made out to Mrs J. Barnett. For Wedding cakes a deposit of 50% of the total cost is due at the time of ordering, with the final payment no late than 14 days prior to the date of the wedding.
Cancellation If you have to cancel your cake order at short notice, you will be liable for any items that have been purchased especially for your cake and for any work that may have already been started.
Safety Whilst your cake may not have nuts or nut products present in it, it will be prepared in a kitchen where nut products may have been used. Most of my cakes will have a coating of marzipan before icing. If your chosen design requires decorations to be added that are not edible, i.e. jewels, wires, dowels, pins or ribbons, I will inform you on collection/delivery of your cake. Please be aware that these items will have to be removed before serving. Once the cake has been collected/delivered Dream Cakes cannot be held responsilble for any inteference or damage to the cake.
